Our commitment to keeping minors safe on TapTeam.
Our Standards
TapTeam has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and any conduct that sexualizes or endangers minors. This applies to every user, every message, every post, and every profile on TapTeam, without exception.
TapTeam is operated by Leo Heart & Company LLC and is intended for users aged 16 and older. Accounts found to belong to users under 16 are removed. Accounts that violate these standards are permanently terminated.
How We Address CSAE on TapTeam
We address CSAE through multiple layered protections:
- Age gating. Users must confirm they are 16 or older during onboarding. Date of birth is collected and immutable after account creation.
- Real-account requirements. Profile creation requires phone verification. Anonymous or throwaway accounts are restricted.
- Username and content filtering. A profanity and CSAE-term filter blocks usernames, bios, LFG posts, and chat messages containing prohibited content.
- Trust system. Every user has a public Trust score affected by reports, violations, and community behavior. Low-trust accounts are restricted from key features.
- Moderation review. Reports of suspected CSAE are reviewed by Leo Heart & Company LLC and escalated to law enforcement and NCMEC as required by law.
- Account termination. Confirmed CSAE violations result in immediate, permanent account termination, device-level bans where possible, and preservation of evidence for law enforcement.
How to Report CSAE Concerns
If you encounter content or behavior on TapTeam that you believe involves child sexual abuse or exploitation:
- In-app: Use the Report button on any user profile, LFG post, or message. Select “Child Safety” or “Inappropriate content involving a minor” as the reason.
- By email: Contact support@tapteam.app. Include as much detail as you can: username, a description of what you saw, and the approximate date/time. Do not include or forward any CSAM content — describe it in words only.
- Emergencies: If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first.
We treat every CSAE report as our highest priority and respond as quickly as possible.
Compliance with Law
TapTeam complies with all applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where it operates. This includes:
- Reporting to NCMEC. Suspected CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org as required by U.S. federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).
- Cooperation with law enforcement. We preserve evidence and respond to valid legal process from U.S. federal, state, and local law enforcement.
- 18 U.S.C. § 2257 / § 2258. We maintain records as required.
